Pyramid Solitaire

Pyramid Solitaire is one of the most exciting solitaire card games. The goal of the game is to get rid of all the cards in the pyramid.

Rules

The game deck consists of 52 cards, which are located on the playing field in the form of a pyramid. The pyramid is made up of 28 cards, in 7 rows. The bottom row includes 7 cards, the top one consists of one. They all laid face up. Each card is partially covered by two cards from the next row.

You can only deal out the cards at the bottom once.

Although the initial effect of chance is undoubted, a significant role is given to the player. The values on the playing field are known immediately after the deal, which allows you to make an informed choice in the presence of alternative moves or calculate the probability of defeat.

The difficulty lies in the fact that you can remove from the field only a pair of cards whose face value adds up to 13.

The values are as follows: Ace - 1, King - 13, Queen - 12, Jack - 11, cards with numbers are equal in value. King can be removed on its own as it equals 13.

Thus, it is easy to calculate that the following pairs can be composed: Two + Jack; Three + Ten; Four + Nine; Five + Eight; Six + Seven; Queen + Ace.

Due to the fact that suits are not taken into account, the player’s task is greatly simplified. Although a lot depends on the success of a particular combination of cards in the game, but also such a quick fun helps to improve mental activity.

If there are no available moves, then you can use the deck in the corner of the playing field. The game ends when all cards are completely removed from the pyramid or if there are no available moves.
